Interview with Trouble
Interviewer: Welcome, Trouble. We’re happy to have you here.
Trouble: Thank you. It’s awesome to be here.
Interviewer: So, tell me a little about yourself
Trouble: Okay. I’m a 15 year old hacker in training. I live with my mom, who is NEVER home. I love the 80’s and would kill to have grown up then.
Interviewer: A hacker? Like computers?
Trouble: Yes.
Interviewer: Aren’t you a little young for that?
Trouble: Aren’t you a little old to write YA novels?
Interviewer: Touche. Tell me about the mentor who is teaching you their hacking skills.
Trouble: Dark Jimmy is a super guy. He’s a bit Gothic in nature but very high tech in practicality. He’s patient, as long as I’ve got my head in it. I do sometimes tend to let my random thoughts get in the way of my learning.
Interviewer: I think we all do that from time to time. Where did you meet Dark Jimmy?
Trouble: The park.
Interviewer: That sounds kind of creepy.
Trouble: Not really, He was in first grade, and I was in second.
Interviewer: Oh. He’s very young.
Trouble: He’s a genius.
Interviewer: Sounds like you might have a little crush.
Trouble: Ha! He’s not my type.
Interviewer: Age too much of a difference?
Trouble: He’s a boy.
Interviewer: Oh. Moving on. Are you interested in anything else besides hacking and the 80’s?
Trouble: I like art. Abstract art. I have a studio in the back of my house.
Interviewer: Are you excited about a project you’re working on?
Trouble: A hacker project. It’s very paranormal. And I get to work with someone I think is pretty special.
Interviewer: That’s all the time we have. Thank you to Trouble. You readers interested in Trouble can read more about her in the YA horror novel, SHADOWS, due out this year.
