Writing fear

What would you call writing fear? I call it the fear of sitting down in front of my computer/notebook/tablet and my mind going blank. What would I tell everyone when I cannot think of what my characters want to do next? I ask them… But do I give them a chance to answer? I would have to say I don’t always. Sometimes I get scared of what they might say or do… Or that they will say or do nothing.

Writing fear is imposter syndrome. What if I am not a writer, or at least a good writer? What if I let everyone down? I have learned that as long as you stay true to yourself with your writing or anything at all in your life, you will never let anyone important down.
